President’s Message
Dear ACPC Members,
I am honored to have stepped into the role of ACPC President this year, recognizing the incredibly big shoes I had to fill with the tremendous work done by our outgoing President, Elizabeth Lester. I am excited to work with our new class of Executive Committee members, including both new and returning members, to continue our efforts to lean into what differentiates ACPC from other professional organizations, providing unique value to our membership. This is emphasized in our newly published Mission Statement, which highlights that by providing a trusted, private, member-led forum where in-house IP leaders can connect, benchmark, collaborate and grow, ACPC offers a uniquely safe, intimate space to share openly, learn from one another, and advance the profession.
I encourage you to also lean into ACPC and take full advantage of what we have to offer, including through our newly revamped Member Portal where you can access prior meeting materials and benchmarking data, join a Forum or post a message in order to connect with other ACPC members on a specific topic, or locate a specific member that you want to reach out to directly, among other things.
I am also very excited to be working with our current Vice President, Lori Heinrichs, to start the planning for our 60th Anniversary meeting on January 24-27, 2027, in Savannah, Georgia. Please go ahead and mark your calendars for this significant event in ACPC’s history.
In the meantime, I look forward to seeing you in Orlando in January for our 2026 Winter Meeting!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Miller
President
